September 2016 Online Income Report
Note: This income report was previously posted on another blog of mine.
Welcome to my online business income report!
I love reading the income reports of other bloggers and wanted to start sharing mine as a way to be transparent, as well as motivate myself (and hopefully others!) to create a successful business. I’ll also be including my traffic and social media stats as well as goal tracking since those are important parts of the business and it’ll help me keep track as I move forward.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
I include all of my online business income and expenses from blogging, ebay, etc. basically any money I earn from my online businesses.
SEPTEMBER INCOME
One big change from the last time I did an income report in February is that suddenly I’m making a decent income on ebay. I started on ebay mid-August and decided it was a great way for me to earn an income from home so I jumped back in after many, many years and I’m so excited about how everything is starting off!
How to Sell on Instagram Course: $24
Google & Youtube Ads: $11.36
Ebay: $1,404.27
Poshmark: $32
Total: $1471.63
SEPTEMBER EXPENSES
As you can see once you look at my expenses, I definitely did not take home my entire income. In fact I didn’t see much of it at all. But that’s totally fine because I’m buildling these businesses right now and most of what comes out of it just goes right back in.
Ebay Expenses: $932.39 (shipping, ebay fees, buying items to sell, etc)
Blogging Expenses: $141 (squarespace, mailchimp, dropbox, etc.)
Total: $1073.39
OCTOBER GOALS
HIT $2,000 IN ONLINE INCOME
I want to try and make $2,000 in October and I think I’ll definitely be able to do it!
GET MY OFFICE ORGANIZED AND FUNCTIONAL
Now that I’m finally getting my office in order I want to have it completely organized and running smoothly. With ebay inventory coming in and going out almost daily it’s tough to keep things perfect, but I’m making tons of progress to having a nice little office.
GET BACK ON TRACK WITH BLOGGING
I’ve been so one foot in and one foot out with blogging for the last few months because I can only juggle so much! But I really do love blogging and plan to continue for many years. I just need to create a plan that works for my lifestyle at the moment. I hope to blog once per week on my two blogs.
HIRE (VERY) PART TIME HELP FOR EBAY
It may seem soon, but I know that this business can really grow if I had more time. I’ve discussed hiring help to watch my son, but I’d much rather hire help to help me with ebay because the whole point of me working from home is to be there for my son. So I’ve placed an ad and hope to have someone trained by the end of the month!
