$1,665.73 selling on Ebay and Poshmark

It’s time to share another reseller income report! Every month I share what I’ve made selling on eBay, Poshmark and Mercari. I simply share my sales to show what’s possible.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

All of our sales from eBay, Poshmark and Mercari sales for the month

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED

Any of our other income from local sales or any of our other streams of income like our rental home, youtube, blog, freelancing, etc.

THE WORK

Items listed on ebay in October: 226

Items cross posted to Poshmark or Mercari in June: 185

I wanted to note here that the number of items listed on ebay isn’t completely accurate. We did relist some items that were pulled down from our trip as well, but didn’t track all of those.

Hours worked on reselling in June*: 50

*Hours worked is an estimate for both my husband and I combined. These only include hours worked on reselling, not on other income. I estimate this using the Rescue Time app on my computer, the Screen Time section in my iphone as well as my own calculations.

THE SCREENSHOTS

Above are screenshots from our eBay account. I’m putting this out there for others to see because I like to be transparent and show what a real family makes on eBay.

WHAT DID WE DO IN OCTOBER?

October was our first month back from our 5 week long road trip. If you’re interested you can see the vlogs I’m posting here. We got back the second week of October and got back to work.

The build up has been really slow as it usually is when you slow down business and have to ramp it back up. We’re definitely seeing progress and to speed it up we’re making sure we are only listing items we know will sell well and avoiding items that might sit for a while. We’re also accepting lower offers than normal to increase our sell through rate and using promoted listings to help boost our listings.

WHAT IS OUR PLAN FOR NOVEMBER?

November is our first full month back to work so we’re working really hard to get at least 100 listings up each week. The goal is to get 100 listings up on eBay and to cross post as much as possible to Poshmark.

GOALS FOR NOVEMBER

  1. List 600 new items on ebay
  2. Cross post 300 items to Poshmark
  3. $5,000 in sales

I hope this look into our sales was helpful!
