16 Best Men’s Brands to Resell on Ebay and Poshmark
When it comes to reselling clothes, there are a few things you want to keep in mind. The first is that you want to keep an eye out for brands that sell well. While brand isn’t the only factor in looking for items to sell online, it’s a major factor when you’re out sourcing for inventory to resell.

If you’re a reseller or you’re looking to start reselling to make some extra cash, you’re in luck. In this blog post, we’ll discuss the best men’s clothing brands to resell on popular platforms like Ebay and Poshmark.
Note: This post is sponsored by Vendoo and contains affiliate links. As always, all opinions are mine and I only work with companies I genuinely recommend.
What makes a brand good for reselling?
There are a few key factors you want to consider when looking for popular brands of men’s clothing to resell. Put as simply as possible, you can to look at:
- Average sale price price
- Average sell through rate
- Availability
When it comes to sale price, obviously you want a brand that sells for a high price. If it only sells for an average of $15, it’s not very profitable even if you can get it for a few dollars. A brand that has an average sale price of $50 will give you a lot more room for profit!
Sell through rate can be calculated by the number of listings sold divided by the number of active listings. This will tell you how desirable this brand is. For example, if there are 200 sold listings and 400 active listings, that means the sell through rate is about 50% which is actually pretty good! This isn’t a perfect number and some people like to use completed listings instead of active listings to calculate this, but whatever way you do it, you’ll an idea of how well this brand sells.
Then, of course, you want to look at availability. We all know top designer brands like Dolce & Gabbana are good buys, but how often are you finding that? Rarely if ever, right? So while we know there are high end brands out there that will sell for hundreds, or thousands of dollars, in this list I’m going to focus on brands that you’re more likely to find.

Do men’s clothes sell well on eBay and Poshmark?
While women’s clothes tends to be the focus for people who sell on eBay and Poshmark, there are plenty of opportunities to profit from selling men’s clothes. In fact, it may be better to focus on men’s clothing because women’s clothing resale market is more saturated. I personally love selling men’s clothing because I don’t get as many returns or questions as with women’s clothing.
Where to find men’s clothing to resell
There are a tons of places you can look for men’s clothing to resell depending on the business model you want to have. In my opinion the best places to source men’s clothing to resell are thrift stores and yard sales for secondhand clothing. If you don’t mind investing a bit more, you can also try consignment and buy/sell/trade stores like Buffalo Exchange or Crossroads Trading.
If you want to resell new clothing, check out discount stores like TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshalls, etc. with physical locations to see if you can find luxury brands that you can sell for a profit. Online shopping can be profitable too if you know what you’re looking for!
Where to sell men’s clothes online
The two most popular resale platforms to sell men’s clothes online are eBay and Poshmark, but there are also other marketplaces like Mercari, Depop, and Grailed, which is actually a men’s only marketplace.
What I actually recommend is cross posting items to multiple platforms to increase your chances of selling your items. I personally recommend using Vendoo to cross post items quickly because you just need to add photos and fill in the info one time, then you can quickly post to one of the ten marketplaces supported by Vendoo.
Tips for reselling clothing sucessfully
Successful reselling isn’t just about finding the best brands to resell, you need to make sure your items sells. There are a few things you can do to increase your chances of selling your clothing items:
- Take clear, well-lit photos from multiple angles. This will help potential buyers get a better idea of what the item looks like and if it’s in good condition.
- Write accurate descriptions. Be sure to include any flaws (definitely don’t hide these and hope the buyer won’t notice) as well as measurements.
- Price your items competitively. If you’re not sure what to price an item at, check out similar listings on the same platform to get an idea.
- Know what sells well for you. One great way to figure this out is to use Vendoo’s analytics feature. You can see your top selling brands and categories so you know where to focus your sourcing.
Now that you know about some of the best men’s brands to resell for a profit, you know what to look out for when you’re out sourcing!
